Cherwell School of Dancing
The Cherwell School of Dancing has been active in Middleton Cheney for almost 40 years and is affiliated to the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA).
There are classes in Ballet from the age of 3 years and Tap and Contemporary Modern Jazz from the age of 5. Exam sessions are held 3 times per year and are officiated by an external examiner from the IDTA.
A production is put on in the Village Hall bi-annually where all pupils are invited to take part and we raise funds for charity. There are two fully qualified teachers - Julie Crofts & Emily Marsh who are DBS checked and First Aid trained.
We believe that dance teaches children a multitude of transferable skills for their future. We instill confidence, discipline, teamwork, resilience and determination. Overall, we want children to have FUN.
